About the Festival

Performatura Festival is the CCP’s inaugural performance literature festival. It aims to access relationships with and between the page and the stage, tradition and innovation all the while exploring notions of intertextuality. By celebrating how texts and text-makers relate socially in space and time, we hope to develop a culture of inclusion, opening the conversation to all forms that wish to engage various literatures and performances.

Performatura 2015 is a three-day festival happening on the 6th, 7th and 8th of

November 2015.

We envision that Performatura cultivates the following:

Performatura define what intertextual is via the festival events

Performatura exists to value all the written, spoken, and performed

 literatures.

Performatura celebrates the best and the brightest performances of

Filipino and foreign literatures.

Performatura aims to discover and dissect all the tangible and intangible heritages.

Performatura aspires to entertain, educate, and enlighten the present and future generations.

Performatura dares to dream of inventing artistic and literary platforms for love that are classic and universal.
