*Position Title: Senior IT Auditor

*Job Description 
Participates in audits by planning, supervising, and performing review and testing on all layers of computer systems (application, database, operating system, data, infrastructure, etc.) for data integrity and security as well as audits of Einstein systems to ensure effectiveness of information technology and managerial controls and the accuracy of recorded data.

Plans, supervises, and performs the internal audit in a team environment, including ascertaining the reliability of developed IT applications and the related data processing functions, reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and efficiency of accounting, financial, and operating procedures established for IT control purposes.

Provides audit assistance to the Einstein independent certified public accountants.

Performs special project work under the Director’s instruction/supervision.

Develops and documents computer assisted analytics for automating various IT test procedures and performing routine operational/financial audit tasks as needed.

Performs implementation reviews for new or modified application systems and IT technology. Develops or revises audit procedures for implementing assignments.

Participates in both the development of audit procedures to be followed for each assigned project and preparation of the audit program and report.

Obtains, analyzes and appraises evidentiary data as a basis for informed objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system as well as the organizational and functional activities being reviewed.

Prepares and edits audit reports and participates with the Director of Internal Audit in the discussion of such reports with appropriate management.

Compiles information and/or prepares reports and analyses setting forth results of audits with appropriate recommendations; performs subsequent audits to ensure complete and appropriate corrective action.

Provides a flow of communication from operating units and management to the Director of Internal Audit.

Performs other duties as required on an ongoing or assigned basis.
* Skills &
Qualifications:
Requires three to five years IT audit experience. Experience in not-for-profit healthcare and/or not-for-profit experience is preferred. Experience with Cerner, Siemens and Lawson applications is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Business Management, or other relevant field
Certification(s): Desired: CISA or CISSP preferred; CIA.
Travel: Occasional local travel within Philadelphia region
