Task:
You will research one of the many wonders of our world ,and present a
speech on this wonder. A visual aid must accompany your presentation.
Step1: Choose a wonder of the world from the list.
Step 2: Read over the rubric carefully.
Step 3: Research your wonder of the world focusing on the information needed for the
speech. Take notes.
Step 4: Create an outline of how your speech will be presented. (You will learn how to
create an outline in class.)
Step 5: Write your speech using your outline as your guide.
Step 6: Create a visual aid.
Step 7: Rehearse, Rehearse, Rehearse…
Step 8: Come prepared and ready to class with your note cards, rubric, and visual aid.
Follow the rubric to earn the maximum points.
