In our society, some individuals need legal intervention to encourage them to get the
help they need. Choices (male) is for convicted felons who are court-ordered to a longterm residential treatment program. This program supervised by the Florida State
Department of Corrections and provide individual and group therapy, as well as a focus
on workforce re-entry. Following six months of residential treatment, clients' transition
to six months of aftercare. Clients must be at least 18 years of age, convicted felons and
court-ordered into a substance abuse treatment program. Attorneys and public defenders
should contact First Step's Court Services office.

of Pinellas Safe Harbor. Homeless chronic offenders should be referred to Pinellas Safe
Harbor by Homeless Outreach Teams and Law Enforcement. DOC and PCJ releases are
