SCHOOL & COMMUNITY
Renaissance School for Arts & Sciences, founded in 2004, is an independent co-educational day
school for grades five through twelve, located in a residential community outside of Los
Angeles. Renaissance School’s mission is to light the fire of learning in a broad range of
intellectually capable students who have yet to realize their full potential. The school is
designed to meet students at their level, accelerate students where possible and provide
remediation where necessary.
Students are drawn from diverse economic, ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds.
Approximately 25% of our students receive some degree of financial aid. The majority of
students have a diagnosed learning disability and receive appropriate accommodations without
modification throughout their school career.
