Students will work on their homework assigned from yesterday. Interactive Instruction: One teacher will be with one group and work on point slope worksheet while the other catches the slower ones up and help them complete their homework. Closure: The students will reunite in the classroom, put their calculators up, and ask any questions they may have before the bell rings. Learning Target: Students will be able to translate slope-intercept form into standard form. Independent Work: Students will take the worksheets from the day before and consider the slope intercept form and convert them into standard form. Learning Target: Students will review progress report and work on their independent assignments. will pass out a study guide for Friday’s test. I will review the study guide with them. We will do a quick review of parent functions and then play Jeopardy! Closure: Since they’re playing Jeopardy on mini dry-erase boards, I’ll have the students clear their boards and put all their materials away. Friday Learning Target: Section 3.13.2 test. After the test, I will introduce 3.3 Independent Work: Students will take their test. When they finish, there will be problems on the board for them to try that introduces 3.3 Interactive Instruction: I will observe the class while Interactive Instruction: One group of students will be with one teacher and the other students will be with the other like the day before but the teachers will swap groups. The teachers will walk around the room and help as needed through guided practice. This will also be a review for tomorrow’s quiz.
