 Analyzed drilling fluids on oil drilling rigs and made recommendations for best
performance for this Fortune 500 oil service company. Company laid off 1,500
employees included me due to low oil prices in early 2009.
MCKESSON PROVIDER TECHNOLOGIES, Project Manager / Staffing Solutions 4/2007 – 8/2007
 Trained and certified in a nurse and staff scheduling software package called
ANSOS.
 Hired by Per-Se Technologies which was purchased by McKesson.
 Laid off due to personnel changes after this acquisition.

 Took pre-requisites for a clinical degree and after finishing pre-requisites decided not

276/277 and 278 transactions in order to build a National Health Information Network

didn’t accept RHIO’s.

that is aimed at medical groups using Application Service Providers (ASP)
and EMR’s.

(MGMA) printed my fellowship paper in the September issue of their clinic
management magazine called Connexion and in the ACMPE Executive
View.
o January 2005  Contributing author in a 700 page book aimed at large
medical group practices. This book “Physician Practice Management:
Essential Operational and Financial Knowledge” published by Jones and
Bartlett Publishers is now in second printing. My chapter was entitled,
Health Care Information Technology – Organization, Management, Key
Strategic Infrastructure, and Application Needs for the Multi-specialty

established computer systems for satellite start-up clinic.
 Established monthly measurements of RVU (relative value unit) performance of clinical

 Moved clinic from $174,000 in losses to $ 168,000 in profits by incorporating new computer
