II. Purposes
This project is registered and implemented as the capstone project for the team members. The
first purpose is to fulfill the requirements from FPT University studying program. The second purpose is
to create a complete product for going live.

IV. Background
Wich each University specific is FPT University, students have to do their capstone project at the
end of course if they want to get certificate. They do this project to show their skill, show what did
they get during the course. So this project must be unique and done by themself. But by time, the
capstone projects became more and more, so in hundred even thousand projects how teacher can
suare that there are no similer projects.

To solve this problem, we need a solution to check out a project has similar idea before or not. At
this moment there is no complete tool is apply at FPT University.
We design a website that manage projects and compare a project with others to find out they are
the same or not. With website will helpful for teacher to manage capstone projects and avoid student
cheating.
Because there is no website like this before so this is an opportunity but also challenge for us.
V. Literature Review of Existing Systems
1. Overview of similar existing solutions & existing methods
At this time, there is no complete solution as requirement, but there are some methods
similar this website’s functions.
2. Achievements of the existing systems

3. Limitations of the existing systems
* Searching speed: collection of project become more and more by time, when data is large
searching speed become slow.
VI. Our Proposal
Because there is no websign like this before is used in FPT University and importance of managing
Capstone Project Documents, we consider it is an opportunity for us to be able to develop an solution
for University.
The idea is simple but hight realizability, specific at this moment FPT Universisty has no tool to
manage capstone project so we think our program will be welcome.
By implementing a Capstone Project Documents Management website for FPT University, our
product will have the following advantages:

Support looling up capstone project documents to lecturers and students of FPT University.
Help students to avoid repeating and copying idea for their capstone project.
Compare project documents to detect cheating.
Products
This program is created as a website with data is stored at server and teacher can login and check
project at any time and any where. Website has simple interface and only teacher can login.
The product should include two main functions:
- Searching : user can search by project name or key word. If two projects have same name that
mean they are the same, else user can search key word in projects to make suare they are not the
same.
- Compare contents: to make suare two projects are not the same, we not only compare their
document but also compare their source code.
