Responsibilities
- Day to day management of UW Oshkosh lab animal facilities
- Coordinate and schedule use of lab animal colonies and animal
caretakers
- Develop demonstrations for classroom instruction
- Maintain inventories, purchase food, bedding, and other supplies
- Assist in surgeries and anesthesia
- Develop and maintain colony records, safety protocols, sentinel
animal
program, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in the Life Sciences Preferences
- AALAS Lab Animal Certification (RLAT or RLATG)
- Master of Science degree
Starting Date
March 1, 2016
Salary
Range based on experience
Terms of Appointment
Fixed-term renewable at .5 FTE
