Healthy adult subjects will be video-taped while performing vigorous activity or sporting activities such as running, jumping, kicking, throwing, lifting, etc. Lightweight removable retroreflective markers will be placed on the subjects joint centres and other major anatomical landmarks. Balance assessment using force plates. The subject is required to balance on one leg. The test will be performed for a period of 30-60 seconds under two conditions eyes open and eyes closed. The force plate data will be used to calculate a variety on indices of balance, such as centre of pressure, etc. Force plate Analysis (Normal gait).
