FISH FARM
FISH FARM: specific enclosure destined for fish farming.
The fish farm presents a marked didactic
character, so that the different swimming
pools that form the set have information
relative to the fish that in them grow.
This fish farm is designed as space of
exhibition and learning, and makes
special emphasis in the autochthonous
species of the Iberian rivers.
ARBORETUM
Designed in the '40s by D. Luis Ceballos,
in this time serving a dual role: on one
hand contributed to forest regeneration of
the University City, and the other allowed
to bring to students of the School of
Forestry, plant species of forestry interest.
Today the arboretum is hosting about 400
species of vascular plants, number that
increases year after year by the
contributions
of
different
entities,
constituting one of the largest arboretums
of Madrid.
