Excent The magic Wand Foundation was established by the four founders of Excent, Scott Shickler, Mitch Schlimer, Juan Casimiro, and Jeff Waller. Excent is a global education solution company that works with millions of students throughout the world. They provide data solutions and direct training services to empower students and educators in both special and general education. Their mission is to empower every student they encounter, and make their messages available to those who do not have the funds to receive what they provide. To make this possible, the Excent founders launched the Magic Wand Foundation in 2008. The Magic Wand Foundation As stated on magicwandfoundation.org, “The Magic Wand Foundation is a non-profit organization that empowers young people to find happiness, live their dreams, and develop a passion for making a positive impact on the world. Our goal is to empower teens to take purposeful action in the present so they can create a life of greater joy and meaning for themselves.” This foundation is currently funded almost completely by Scott Shickler. Currently, he needs help spreading the word of his messages and encouraging people to donate to the foundation. These donations go directly to scholarships for the week-long seminar they provide in Orlando, Florida. The seminar is called, “The Ultimate Life Summit”. The Ultimate Life Summit This eight day experience empowers students to identify their passion and take accountability for their own happiness and success, as well as fulfill their dreams while impacting others in a positive way. The summit is focused on seven mindsets that the most successful people in the world have possessed throughout history. These mindsets are as follows: Everything is Possible, Passion First, We are Connected, 100% Accountable, Attitude of Gratitude, Live to Give, and The Time is Now. Each day of the seminar, one mindset is focused upon through seminars, workshops, videos, and activities. In the morning, the students attend the seminars and then explore Walt Disney World in the afternoon. Disney is a great way for the attendees to continue learning what they experience in the morning sessions, as the parks are based upon following dreams. At the Ultimate Life Summit, Scott and his team educate the participants and inspire them to take action in their lives; however, the life-changing experience continues well past the eight day seminar. Every student gains access to MyUltimateLife.com, an online empowerment network where students can create their own life plan. They also receive access to empowering quotes of the day, empowering thoughts of the week, and monthly webinars.
