Tata Consultancy Services
Pro Bono Community Fund
2015 Application Form
I invite your organisation to visualise how technology, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), can
improve the way you create an impact our community and environment.
TCS is a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organisation. I am excited to
announce that in 2015, TCS will offer our services, free of charge, to select not-for-profit
organisations.
Whether your IT needs are small or large, innovative or general enhancements to existing
systems, we would be delighted to hear from you. Our services include front-end application and
website development, IT consulting and technology optimisation, digitisation and digital
transformation, and software testing and deployment.
The TCS pro bono Community Fund in Australia draws inspiration from our pro bono work in India,
where we have leveraged our IT competence to create an Adult Literacy Program. Since its
inception in 2000 the program has impacted the lives of almost 200,000 across India. In addition,
TCS India has worked extensively in the health sector, providing:




Integrated hospital management systems, clinical lab equipment integration, and cancer
registries at the Cancer Institute in Chennai
National retina disease registry system for Retina India Foundation
Patient care system for Operation Smile – an international NGO that provides free surgery
for cleft lips, palates, and other facial deformities
Donor management systems for organisations such as Impact India Foundation (focused on
supporting people with disabilities), Childline India Foundation (focused on the rights and
protection of children), and Mumbai Mobile Crèches (child care).
I hope that in 2015 we can work together to increase the impact your organisation can make on
our community and environment. We look forward to receiving your application.
Kind regards,
Deborah Hadwen
CEO, TCS Australia and New Zealand
