AS PE TASK – Socio-Cultural

To research the history of the Olympic Games (who founded it, philosophy/aims, organisations, summer/winter game format and history, drug scandals, athlete
case studies)
 Devise a creative and interactive power point presentation (minimum of 10 slides)
AS PE – Practical Performance

Create a 10 minute video of yourself performing key skills in your sport, it should include the following;
o Moving with the ball
o Passing
o Defending/Tackling
o Set Plays
o 2 v 1 or 3 v 1
o Other core skills necessary to your sport.
 The best videos consider the following;
o Location, in your back garden does not look good on camera, go to a local pitch or sport centre.
o Clothing, dress appropriately, look the part.
o Introduction/Writing/Graphics to introduce yourself and the skills you are doing.
o Music

Complete a movement analysis of yourself “in action”. You will need three copies of the picture on separate pages.
o Page 1 Label the following bones on picture 1(Clavicle, scapular, humerus, radius, ulna, vertebrae, cranium, femur, tibia, fibula, ribs, sternum, pelvis,
patella, talus, metatarsals, tarsals, phalanges, carpals, metacarpals)
