DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
 Deposit paid is not refundable/nontransferable in the event of
cancellation/postponement
 A deposit of 50% of the total estimated amount is needed to confirm the
booking of the event
 A deposit of 25% is needed before the event.
 The rest of the deposit to be given after the event once the number of of has
been confirmed.
The menu should be finalized minimum 5 days prior to
the event in order to serve you the best menu of your
choice. In urgent cases exceptions can be made or chef
choice special menu will be served for the event
REFUNDS
As per the Reserve bank of India, any excess deposit made for the event will be
refunded against a recall request by the client. Once the request is received it will be
processed and the amount will be refunded in 15 working days.
PLEASE NOTE
 All bookings are tentative until a deposit is received.
 We do not extend any credit and all payments must be paid immediately
after the event.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY
 Food will be prepared only 10% in excess of the number of people
guaranteed; in excess of over 15% INR 250 will be charged on the agreed
rate of the function.
 The snacks service will be for duration of two hours from the time of the
commencement of the function.
 Only food and beverage items provided by Hotel Saffron Leaf are to be
consumed on the hotel premises.

 No left over food or beverage items will be allowed to be taken away from
the hotel for outside consumption.
 Provision of liquor to any person under the age of 21 Years is not permitted
as per Indian laws
 Alcohol may not be taken outside the Hotel
 A liquor license is mandatory by law to serve alcoholic beverage in the
Banquet Area, liquor license fee is INR 5000 and is valid for 4 hours
BANQUET HALL POLICY
 Minimum people required for the provision of the main banquet (Crystal
Ballroom) is 150 people or one has to pay INR 40,000 for it, or the total
function estimated charges should be minimum INR 1,50,000.
 Incase one doesn’t have a function for 150 people then the lower banquet or
the conference hall will be provided for the function with no extra cost.
 Hotel Saffron Leaf will provide normal lighting at the event venue.
 Any extra lighting will be charged extra and will be supported with a
generator.
 The client will have to pay for the extra generator and diesel
 Welcome signage is only allowed in the banquet venue and not anywhere
outside
 The client is liable to pay for any damage caused to Hotel Saffron Leaf,
Dehradun property or equipment either by the client or clients guests
attending the event and the hotel reserves the right to ask for a damage
deposit for any damage is caused.
 The hotel will not be responsible for the loss of valuable items displayed
overnight, during the event and the period when there are no guests on the
premises.
The hotel is fully equipped to supply power for
your event, as the power supplied in the halls is
directly dependent upon the state electricity
board. In case you intend to have un-interrupted
power supply in your event we recommend the use
of generator set. You have the option to arrange
the generator yourself or we can also assist you,
the client will pay charges for the same.

GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS
 As per the government rules, smoking inside the hotel premises is a
punishable offence and guests can only smoke in a designed smoking area,
which is situated outside the hotel premises.
GUESTS CONDUCT
 Hotel Saffron Leaf reserves the rights of admission of persons entering
hotels facilities.
 If the hotel has reason that a function would affect the smooth functioning of
the hotel business, security or reputation, Hotel Saffron Leaf reserves the
right to refuse or cancel the function.
 In the unfortunate event that the client or their guest’s behavior becomes
indecent and unacceptable and causes embarrassment or discomfort to
others,[guests or hotel staff] the management of the hotel reserves the right
to have the individual or individuals removed from the hotels premises.
