Gas Team Functions
EU & GB Gas Codes Development Team
The team works with stakeholders to develop the System Operator (SO) aspects of
the commercial regimes in GB and EU including such aspects as energy balancing,
emergency arrangements, information flows and industry Energy Balancing credit
rules. The team also leads on UNC Governance processes and, as the manager of the
team, Ritchard Hewitt also undertakes the role of UNC Panel Member for National Grid
Transmission.
Gas Charging & Access Development Team
The team works with stakeholders to develop the Entry Capacity, Exit Capacity and
Transportation Charging elements of the GB and EU commercial regime, including
UNC and Licence changes. The team also leads on meeting specific Licence obligations
relating to the consultation and production of charging and capacity related Licence
methodology statements.
