We need an idea on numbers PLEASE DON’T LEAVE IT TOO LATE!
Sometime in the last week, someone said to me that
they really liked Trevor’s input in this pewsheet spot. I
looked at the speaker who hurriedly said-“Well of
course I like what all of you write”!! I cannot remember
who it was, but when I do, perhaps “all us others” can
get together to give that person a spiritual beating!!
I am at St. Mary’s this Sunday and it is their Patronal Festival so, naturally I
have been prepping on the BVM. (Blessed Virgin Mary)I would like to share
these words- they are not mine:
Most of our work for God is humble work accomplished by humble
workers. That does not sound very exciting, but that is the wayGod does
things. Mary is respected for her humility and, like her in her relationship
with God and Jesus, it is suggested that we love Jesus, we pray to Him,
keep in touch with Him, be devoted to Him, strive to do what He wants us
to do, and give Him the Glory. If we do, God will give us His blessings. May
god, indeed bless us all, Nicola
