1) Correspondence Course with 3 contact classes
This correspondence course has 3 contact classes. The classes will be
for three subjects. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths. The ma terial
for the fourth optional will be given. There will be no class for fourth
optional.
1) During the holidays after the Xth std. There are two timings. These
timings are only approximate timings. The actual timings can be
fixed only after knowing the holidays of different Gulf countries. If
there is no problem, these timings will be followed.
a) July 1st to July 30th
or
b) August 1st to August 30th
There will be 3 hrs + 3 hrs + 3 hrs class everyday. 1st year theory
and 1st year entrance will be finished during this period
2) During the holidays after the 11th ie while studying in 12th std.
There are two timings
a) July 1st to July 30th
or
b) August 1st to August 30th
There will be 3 hrs + 3 hrs + 3 hrs class everyday. 2nd year theory
and 2nd year entrance will be finished during this period.
3) After the Board Examination.
This session starts on the very next day after the Board
Examination. There will be 3 hrs + 3 hrs class every day. There will
also be two hours model examination every day. The course will be
over 5 days before the entrance examination.
The course fee is 1000 US dollars in the form of draft in favour of
Prof. P. C. Thomas, A/c No. 0007498 with Axis Bank, Thrissur,
payable at New York. The application form and prospectus can be
downloaded from the Website from 01-12-2014. The application form along
with the two drafts must be received on or before 31-03-2015.
The student has to stay in the hostel. Both vegetarian and non
vegetarian food are available. Boarding and lodging fee per month
will be Rs. 8000/- in the form of draft in the name of Prof. P. C.
Thomas payable at Thrissur .
Note:- If the student discontinues the classes at any time he will be given
proportionate refund.
( II ) Online Coaching for Entrance
This course is a supplementary course for those who are studying
in this institution or some other institution. This course gives
practice for writing online examination which will be the modern
trend.
The course contains a total of 304 papers, with 75 papers in each
subject Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology and 4 trial
papers. Out of the 75 papers of each subject, 50 papers are
chapterwise. 25 papers contain questions from all chapters. For more

( III ) Short Term Course after the Board Examination
This course is conducted at 'Chaithanya Classes', Kammath

( IV ) Bridge Course after Xth Board Exa mination
This course is useful for those who intend to do their 11th & 12th
in India. It starts in the 1st week of April every year and ends by May
15th. The admission starts on 01-12-2014. During this period there
will be 3 hrs + 3 hrs + 3 hrs class ever y day. The major points of 1st
year theory will be finished during this period.
After the SSLC examination the students get about 3 months
before they join the next course in India. During this time the
students engage themselves in multifarious activit ies which have
negative effect on their future studies. They never exert their mind on
studies. The effect is that they fall into a lethargic mood and are not
able to restart their studies when the schools reopen for the 11 t h
standard. Most of them find it difficult to work as hard as they were
working upto SSLC examination. This is the reason why many top
rankers of SSLC fail miserably at higher levels. You might have seen
the Diesel engine of a train idling all the time when it halts at a
station. It is not switched off. If switched off, it is difficult to
restart. This is the reason why the engine idles throughout the halt
at the station. In a similar manner if a student discards his studies
for 2 or 3 months continuously he will find it difficul t to restart. He
must engage himself in some sort of useful studies. The most useful
study will be the study of his 11 t h standard portions.
The course fee is Rs. 12500/- including Service Tax &
Educational Sess. Outstation students must preferably sta y in our
hostel. Hostel fee for the course is Rs. 9000/ -.

2) Information about Vijayagiri Public School. Vijayagiri Public School is a CBSE
School run by Vijayagiri Educational and Charitable Society. Prof. P. C. Thomas
is the president of the society and the manager of the school. The school has a
higher secondary section from 2010 June onwards. The school functions with the
same strictness and dedication as Prof. P . C. Thomas Classes at Thrissur. The
school is situated near the home village of Prof. P. C. Thomas, namely
Kuzhikkattussery, about 30km to the south of Thrissur and 8 km from Chalakudy.
The school has hostel facilities for about 400 boys and 400 girls stu dying in Plus
One and Plus Two.
4) The contact classes mentioned in course one will be at Elamthuruthy, about 6 km
from Thrissur. The place of stay is Elamthuruthy itself. The tuition classes also
are conducted at Elamthuruthy itself. The contact class is for one month only.
During this time the students will not be allowed to go out except with parents.
Local guardians can visit them at free time. But they shall not bring any eatable
to the hostel. They will be provided with what ever they ask for, within limits, of
course. On Sunday there will be no class upto 1 pm. Those who are creating
disturbance during study time or sleeping time will not be allowed to continue
their stay in the hostel. They can stay outside and attend.

These classes start on the very next day after the Board Exam 2015. It will
extend to about 5 days before the start of the Kerala entrance examination. There will
be eight hours class per day. The classes are conducted at Chaithanya Classes,
Kammath Lane, Sankarayya Road, West Fo rt, Thrissur-4. Phone : 2380592. The
student or his agent has to contact Chaithanya Classes, Sankaryya Road, West Fort,
Thrissur-4 for admission.
The student can join any time in the course of Plus 1 or Plus 2. He can go
through the study material and hints and start answering the questions using the hints
during his regular school days. It will help his board examination on one hand and
make the class room coaching at Thrissur easier.
