Run all Updates in the Apps Store
 On Apple iOS devices:

◦ App Store > Updates … Update All.

On Androids:
◦ run Google Play Store app.
◦ Menu > My Apps … Update all.

Once all updates are finished, close all
running programs on your mobile device.

registration (email)

◦ Epocrates: allows multiple
 iPhone and iPad = 1 license
◦ uCentral: allows 1 smartphone and 1 tablet
on 1 account
◦ Dynamed: 1 serial # = 5 devices
◦ NMCD: Seems to work on 2 with 1 account

Online: Register for each Product
1. Create account
2. Get username and password
3. “Purchase” product for $0

On the device:
1. Find product in App Store/GooglePlay
2. Install
3. Sign in and download content over wireless

In 12 months: renew subscription online

Wireless Operation vs 3G/4G
Cellular Operation






Coverage and bandwidth are always an issue
Wi-Fi can be much faster than 3G to install –
wireless is under Settings.
Go to Settings> WiFi, turn on, select FSUMED,
Connect, enter password collegeofmed1
LTE(4G) faster than Wi-Fi. Turn off wireless.
Most Apps run offline
Essential Evidence Plus is PDA formatted web
page and requires wireless/cell connection to
work
