Aims & Objectives • Re-cap prior learning of areas we covered last lesson and so far for this unit. • Establish what stereotypes exist within the genre in terms of Gender roles and audience expectations. • Re-cap Character role theories YOU WILL be familiar with (Propp’s character roles) and introduce some new Character role theory (Monstrous Characters – Neale & Krutnik) • Analyse a series of Case Study example from the Action-Adventure genre. • Review the learning.
