Warren’s Dictionary of Psychology: “condition or set of characteristics regarded as symptomatic
of an individual’s ability to acquire to acquire training in some (usually specified) knowledge,
skill, or set of responses such as the ability to speak a language, to produce music etc.”
A: Test Selection
Browsed through the various Teaching Aptitude Tests, Multiple Aptitude Tests in the NCERT
Library and record the construction and development of the test, validity, reliability,
standardization sample, norms, sub-tests.
Shortlisted the tests apt for the study
Looked for references for each of the test.
Rated the tests, based on review of literature
Accessed the test: Visit North Campus Library, NCERT Library for procurement
Contacted NPC and PPC for availability of Aptitude Tests
Figured out the Funding for the research Project; Order for the test
