Lauren Borga Pathfinder Assignment IRLS 524 Food and Nutrition for University of Arizona Undergraduates Pathfinder Introduction: As nutritional sciences are wide-ranging and include different specialties and various fields of study, a pathfinder is important in order to help students find resources in areas such as food chemistry, nutrition assessment, nutrition counseling, dietary management, and others. This is also a continually evolving and advancing field so being able to find current sources is vital. This pathfinder was designed to help food and nutrition students find reliable resources within key areas of study. Particularly, it is a starting point for undergraduate students in The Department of Nutritional Sciences to find online and library resources to help with coursework. This pathfinder will also be helpful for students as they explore different areas of study and research specializations within the field. The government websites listed are all freely available on the web. The other resources listed are available through University of Arizona University Libraries. Students may also want to check out the Arizona Health Sciences Library. *Links to library items will take you to the item’s WorldCat bibliographic record, through which you can view available editions and formats, and click to check for electronic resource access through the library or find a copy in the library.
