He has been hospitalised for 4 weeks because of
haemophagocytic syndrome (diagnosis by bone marrow
smear)
Received therapy:


Respiratory rate 28 breaths/min, peripheral oxygen saturation 95% (6
L oxygen/min via mask)
HLH4 protocol (etoposide, dexamethasone, cyclosporin A)
History of multiple periods of fever of unknown origin
