I believe in you! Color Blindness Project You have been hired by a marketing and design company to create a device that will aid a person who is color blind in distinguishing colors. As the hired consultant, it is your job to design the device and present it to the company, and you will do so in the form of a brochure. Using the information we have discussed in class and your knowledge of the anatomy of the eye, design a device that will help a color blind person see all of the colors. In your brochure, make sure to include answers and explanations for the questions below: 1. 2. 3. 4. What is your design? How will it work? How do the properties of light and the structure of the human eyes allow us to see color? What causes color blindness? Make the brochure using ordinary copy paper, folded to make three sections (called a tri-fold brochure). The brochure should include the following: a. Outer top page: Make this the title page. Be creative! Make up your own device and manufacturing company names, including drawings and graphics related to the topic. b. On the first page you open up, to catch the reader’s attention, provide an illustration of your device. c. On the inner panels, provide information that answers the questions given above. d. On the center back panel, provide your name, class period, and due date, as well as a list of any sources you used. The criteria for evaluating each brochure is listed on the back.
