Johnson 3 Selection Process Narrowing down the applicant pool to roughly 25 The process would start first by examining all the résumés to see if the applicant meets all of the minimum requirements for this job. All applications that meet these requirements will be moved over to the next phase. All applications that don’t will be shredded and an email will be sent to the applicant informing him/her that they will no longer be considered. Next, all applications will be checked for any added qualifications, such as a Producers licenses for the State of Louisiana. Narrowing down the application pool to roughly 15-10 The process would continue with an overall examination of the applicant and a phone interview. The exam will address all requirements, such as dependable transportation. Any added benefits of the applicant will be noted, such as a smart phone or portable pad. The job would be explained to the applicant and they will be given a chance to ask any questions about the job. They will also submit an application for the position. They will be asked if they can perform the duties of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Narrowing down the application pool to roughly 10-8 The process would include the first in person interview. This gives the interviewer the opportunity to address the applicants overall appearance and personality. This opportunity will help the interviewer decide if the applicant is a good fit for the position, organization, and culture. A series of questions and scenario’s will be asked and the applicant’s answers will be graded on a 1-5 scale to decide if he/she will advance to the next phase, the final phase. The applicant will also go through a quick, thorough simulation that involves customer approaches and phone calls. The final interview The process would include narrowing down the choices to the applicant that is hired. The process will include an interview with the regional coordinator. From there the applicants will be asked to submit to a drug test and background check. From there all final considerations will be made before the decision of who to hire is made. J.
