Literary Analysis Essay The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven
Science Fiction
Fantasy is where you see many things of the imagination and cartoons. There are
even movies about it, for example Harry Potter and the Incredible Hulk. There are books
such as wizard of the earth sea. The elements that make my book fit into a fantasy and
nonfiction, are the Indians they want to fly, Victor´s father thoughts he was the only
Indian who saw Jimi Hendrix, This is what it means to say Phoenix, Arizona.
The Indian they want to fly. There are many Indian boys that want to fly, but
just one could do it, Thomas Build the Fire. He jumped off the roof of the tribal school
and flapped his arm like a bird. He flew for a second, hovered all the other Indian boys
who were too scared to jump off like him. Junior yelled ¨He´s flying¨. But it was real.
As real Thomas lost altitude and crashed to the ground. He broke his arm and one foot.
¨He broke his wings¨, his friend and Victor chanted, and the other Indian boys joined
in, made it a tribal song ¨He broke his wing, he broke his wing, he broke his wing¨.
The Indian boys always wished fly too. They hated Thomas for his courage. One of his
dream came true for just a second.
Victor´s father said he was the only who saw Jimi Hendrix. Victor´s father loved
Jimi Hendrix music, he admired how Jimi Hendrix played the guitar. Victor´s father
liked to play guitar, he wasn´t very good on playing it but he tried to do best, even
though he had to think what chord he was going to play next. Victor had no idea what
it meant for his father be the only Indian who saw Jimi Hendrix. There is a possibility
that Victor´s father wasn´t the only Indian who saw Jimi Hendrix most likely there were
hundreds but, he thoughts he was the only one, although he was drunk and sober when
he saw him. When Jimi was 28 years old he died, ¨Only the good people die young¨,
Victor´s father said. Victor´s parents had a fight over Jimi because Victor´s mother said
Jimi was a crazy person and Victor´s father said he was a hero. One night Victor´s
father went out and bought a motorcycle a big one, he stopped drinking, talk too much.
He just listened the radio and rides his motorcycle until he got an accident and he ended
up in the hospital for two months. He broke many parts of his body. Victor wasn´t
surprised how his father was. And even though Victor´s mother didn´t change her
thinking about to end the relation, she went to the hospital many times to see him.
This is what it means to say Phoenix, Arizona. This is what it means to say
Phoenix, Arizona for Victor. Victor had no good luck in his life he lost his jobs and
also his father died of a heart attack. Victor had a lot of time without see him, they
only talked on the phone once or twice. Victor didn´t has any money to go to Phoenix,
Arizona. Victor´s father had a savings accounts waiting for someone to be claimed, but
Victor needed to think how he was going to go to Phoenix, Arizona. Victor´s mother
was poor as he was. Victor asked for money and he called the Tribal Council, and he
spoke what´s going on with him, the council couldn´t help Victor, because they had a
difficult time financially. Then Victor went to a trading post. While Victor stood in line,
he watched his old friend Thomas Build the Fire, he was standing near of the magazine
rack, he was a storyteller that nobody wanted to hear. Thomas and Victor were the
same age, they grew up and played together. Victor just had one hundred of dollars and
Thomas saw him and walked over to him and said ¨Victor, I´m sorry about your father¨,
and Victor asked ¨How did you know about it?¨ ¨I heard it on the wind. ¨I heard it
from the birds¨. All the Indians in the trading post were looking at Victor because he
was talking to Thomas. Victor knew that Thomas might help him. Thomas said ¨I can
lend you the money you need, ¨But you have to take me with you¨. Victor thought
about it and he accepted the money. Once they arrived to Phoenix, the people already
found Victor´s father of the smell bad, Victor didn´t find so much to keep in the trailer
just a photograph and a stereo.
Conclusion
I think these stories was not bad. I liked, it said a lot of things that is happening
right now in the world, I have been reading for a few weeks, and I read many
complicated situations of family as is happening now. A lot of children who do not
have their fathers with them, without talk with them, without see them, and they
suffered a lot. I thanked Jesus I have my father with me.
