Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
Read all the information for our league posted on the bulletin board in the clubhouse. Get
Your score card in the Pro Shop.
Be ready to hit at your designated tee time.
We must make every effort to speed up play! On the longer holes, 6, 8 and 9, tee off
as
soon as preceding golfers are near the green. Please limit the number of practice swings.
Play read Golf!
Review the card, "Rules of Fun Golf". Please keep this card in your bag for reference.
Scorecards
1.
Please print your first name, last name, and date on the scorecard. If a sub is playing, just write
SUB.
2.
All pars, birdies and chip-ins will be color coded. You will find three markers in the box where
you put your completed scorecards. Use the appropriate marker and color your par birdie or
chin=in as follows:
Pars = yellow
Birdies = pink
Chip-ins = blue
Substitute Golfers
1.
If you cannot play golf, please make every effort to get a sub. Subs pay $13.00.
2.
You may arrange for your own sub or use the attached list.
3.
Tell your sub to sign in and put the money in the sub envelope located in the Pro Shop.
Rain Day
1.
Call Applewood Hill as they will decide if league play is cancelled. If this occurs, rain checks
will be placed in our league box in the Pro Shop.
2.
Rain checks are good for weekdays only during the entire season.
3.
To be eligible for the weekly game you must make up your round with 7 days.
4.
Record you score on the wall chart.
5.
Be sure to turn in your score card the next week.
Prizes
1.
Remember this is a FUN league. You are eligible to win the weekly prize only once.
2.
Count every stroke and whiff to make play fair-there are no "mulligans". Maximum score is
10 strokes per hole.
Sub List
If you are unable to play golf at your scheduled time:

Inform the other team and arrange for a sub.
Remind them to sign the SUB book and place the $13.00 sub fee in the envelope found in
the league box in the pro shop.
The sub money goes toward the banquet.
Subs do not need to be on this list to play.
