Why is the production of CO
2 the atmosphere a problem?
into
 CO
2 is a “greenhouse gas”.
 Greenhouse gases are able to absorb infrared radiation and give off heat.
 This then raises the temperature of our atmosphere.
 Some people believe this will lead to or already has caused “global warming”.
