What is the Home Reading Log?

Over the course of 11 days, your child is asked to
answer six questions about the book they are
reading at home.
 These questions are designed to enhance/develop
their reading comprehension and can be applied to
any book.
 The Reading Log will be collected and graded every
other Friday and returned the following Monday to
begin again.
 Most of the questions only require a 2-3 sentence
answer (but I will always accept more).
Writing
Students will be exposed to many
different forms of writing.
• Students will be focusing on the 6+1
traits of writing.

We will be discussing school applications, how to select a school,
and the ISEE (Independent Schools Entrance Examination) test.
