November 21- 23, 2014 – Foodbank’s Mayflower Marathon – Just like in the past, the club
will meet at the Pembroke Mall Sears parking lot off Independence Blvd. at 11:30. Then at 12
noon will all caravan through the food drop off site on the other side of the mall to donate a
check for $2,000 and any food that members bring.
December 6, 2014 – Toys for Tots Car Show – Daniels Performance Group, 20128 IWIP Road
in Smithfield, VA. $20 Entry Fee plus unwrapped toys, registration 9am to 11am, awards
presented at 2pm. Live bands, Smithfield High School Band, door prizes, games. Richard Petty’s
1970 Superbird AKA “The King” from the movie CARS will be there! Santa is scheduled to
arrive by Nightingale!!

Jan. 9-11, 2015 - 2015 Hampton Roads International Auto Show - Hampton Roads
Automobile Dealers Association's Auto Show presents “People’s Choice” contest in the lobby of
the convention center. This year our contest theme is "The Ultimate Pickup Truck." One lucky
pickup truck owner will win $1,000 and have his/her truck crowned “The Ultimate Pickup
Truck.” Nine finalists will receive $100 each and a framed certificate.

cruise in at Landstown Commons contacted me and was wondering if the club was up to
helping out running the cruise in once every 4 weeks. Right now 3 clubs are doing it.

2015 Hampton Roads International Auto Show, Jan. 9-11, 2015
*AUTO SHOW ULTIMATE PICKUP TRUCK CONTEST
For the past few years Hampton Roads Automobile Dealers Association's Auto Show has
presented a “Peoples Choice” contest in the lobby of the convention center. This year our
contest theme is "The Ultimate Pickup Truck."
One lucky pickup truck owner will win $1,000 and have his/her truck crowned “The
Ultimate Pickup Truck.” Nine finalists will receive $100 each and a framed certificate. All
finalists will get to display their pickup trucks at The 2015 Hampton Roads International
Auto Show.
Entries will be accepted until Dec. 5, 2014. The auto show committee will review entries
to select ten finalists. All finalists will be notified by Dec. 16.
During the show the general public will vote for their favorite truck. The winner will be
named on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at 4 p.m. All voters are eligible for prizes, with the Grand
Prize a gas card worth $500.
Rules and Regulations:
The contest is open to the public. Contestants must own the pickup truck they enter.

5) TMC Website and Forum
In order to post on the club forum you must get a user name and password. There are
always spammers trying to get access to the forum, so new users must answer a question to
be able to apply for a username. The question is easy for Mopar people, but not for
spammers. This process requires you user name and password to be verified using an admin
authentication. Once you submit your request we need to check it out and make sure that it is
not a spam user, once confirmed you will then get an e-mail back with a login link. We did
this because we have gotten almost as many spam users as actual members wanting to get on
the forum. We don't want them infiltrating the forums and possibly posting links to viruses,
etc. It will take a bit longer for folks to get access, but it will make the forums safer.
The new TMC Sponsor Members for 2014 are onboard and you can find them at the bottom
of the TMC website Home Page. 2014 TMC Member Sponsors will have their business logo
with their contact information and if they have a website you can just click on their logo to
access it.

For Sale – 1974 Dodge Challenger - $8500 (Moyock, NC)
I have a 1974 Dodge Challenger that I had been working on. The body is in great shape for a
74. I have a rebuilt 360 painted and ready to go in. The 727 transmission is still in the car
along with the exhaust. It is a lime green color but I have purchased Matte Black Wrap to go
on the car from A1 Signs in Moyock. I also have new headers for the 360 along with
associated parts. The interior seats and rear seats have been reupholstered in White. The floor
pan has been primed the engine bay has been primed and painted a satin black. I also have a
new trunk pan for the trunk but it is not installed. In all it is a good project car and wouldn’t
take long to get on the road. I have the car and build sheet for the 360. I think the price is fair,

For Sale – 1970 Dodge Charger R/T - Car is complete and is numbers matching. Color is
Burnt Orange (I have new paint for car) with burnt orange bucket seats that need to be redone, the rear seat is like new with build sheet attached. Part of burnt orange headliner needs
to be re-attached. Have removed the black alligator top it was bad, cleaned & primed the top.
No rust in floor pans (front or rear). Have new correct Burnt Orange carpet and matting to be
installed. 440-375hp runs and 727 trans works. Has new dual exhaust with tips (Walker
system). Have extra front fenders ( L&R ),extra complete front bumper and insert includes
frame mounts attached, extra deck lid, extra window regulators, extra complete speedo &tach
(4 or 5). Needs some body work (trunk-rear & front valence and some rear lower quarter on
L&R). Have extra 440 with 727 trans attached. Car needs to be restored. Car has been stored
since 1981 and has cost over 30K to store it. You will have a high dollar car when restored.
