each. Then find and example, thought or action that
demonstrates the trait for each.
Mama and papa’s relationship has evolved (by the end of
chapter 16). Explain how their relationship has changed
and cite two specific examples.
Why does Jeanne feel the need to find an extracurricular
activity to commit to? What activities does she try? What
does this need indirectly reveal about her
characterization?

Add this to your analysis of chapter 12-16
Though Jeanne and Radine are the best of friends during
middle school, and twirling batons in parades thus
forming many similar values, their friendship begins to
disappear as the girls get older and enter high school.
Create a timeline of significant events in lives of both
Jeanne and Radine beginning from the first day they met
in sixth grade and continuing until Jeanne moves away her
senior year.

Then write a paragraph explaining how friendships change over
time using details from the noel to support your claims.
