BAILOUTS-
CIVIL LIBERTIES-
Believe bailouts are
always bad for the
taxpayer , for the
economy and for the
business. Rewarding
the mismanagement of
American corporations
with a taxpayersubsidized lifeline does
nothing to encourage
reform or fix the
problems that pushed
the companies to
failure. They prolong
the inevitable collapse
of companies suffering
from extreme
mismanagement and
poor investments.“A
bailout is a perverse
transfer from poor tax
payers to rich
taxpayers.”
"The defense of the
country requires that we
have adequate intelligence
to detect and to counter
threats to domestic
security. This requirement
must not take priority
over maintaining the civil
liberties of our
citizens. The Bill of
Rights provides no
exceptions for a time of
war. Intelligence agencies
that legitimately seek to
preserve the security of the
nation must be subject to
oversight and
transparency." Libertarian Party
Platform, Section
3.1 (adopted: May
2008) (Abide
specifically by the Bill of
Rights)
THE WARS"We support the
maintenance of a sufficient
military to defend the
United States against
aggression. The United
States should both
abandon its attempts to
act as policeman for the
world and avoid
entangling alliances." Libertarian Party
Platform, Section
3.1 (adopted: May
2008)

Regarded as one of the most conservative member of Congress.
Described as "the idol of the gun-toting, abortion-fighting, IRShating hard right wing of American politics.”

Libertarian National Committee.
In 2008, former Congressman Bob Barr (R-GA) and former US
Senator Mike Gravel (D-AK) both switched to the LP and
campaigned for the party's Presidential nomination -- and Barr
won the nomination.
Represented the 7th District of Georgia
in the U.S. House of Representatives
from ‘95-’03. Served as a senior member
of the Judiciary Committee, as ViceChairmen of Gov. Reform Committee,
and as a member of the Committee on
Financial Services. Now practices law
with the Law Offices of Edwin Marger,
and runs a Consulting Firm, Liberty
Strategies LLC in Atlanta, Ga.
I hope President Obama will seek legislation curtailing the
dramatic expansion of federal wiretapping power signed
into law last July when former President Bush signed
legislation expanding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Act (FISA) that now makes every international phone call
or e-mail by or to any person in the United States subject to
warrantless surveillance.“ - Praised executive orders
signed by President Obama that ordered closure of
military district center in Guantanamo on 1/23/09

Patrick Buchanan - columnist, political analyst for MSNBC, chairman of The
American Cause foundation, and an editor of The American Conservative.
The America First Party was founded in 1944, but a new America First Party was formed in
2002 by Pat Buchanan supporters who expressed disgust over the way he was treated by the
leadership of the declining Reform Party. The main focus of the party is to put America and all
its citizens first by electing candidates who will restore morality, ethics, common sense, and
service to public service, and will return our Constitution to its proper place in our Republic.
Members of the America First Party hold to beliefs such as preserving and
protect the people of the United States and our sovereignty, promoting
economic growth and independence, encouraging the traditional values of
faith, family, and responsibility, ensuring equality before the law in
protecting those rights granted by the Creator, and to clean up the
corrupted political system

•The Veterans Party of America is based in St. Petersburg, Florida
and was founded in 2003.
•The party’s main purpose is to "give political voice for the first time
since 1776, to the men and women who were willing to give the
ultimate sacrifice for this country. No longer will they have to grovel
and beg and fill out paperwork for years just to get what they
proudly earned and were promised."
•The VPA is not restricted to only veterans, but also the families of
veterans can join.
•The Veterans Party wants to represent the rights and needs of
veterans across the political spectrum -- which is why the party's top
priority is improving the lives of those who served.

The Democratic Party works in the interests of
protecting working class families. The party’s current
plants involve ending the war in Iraq, managing the
economy and creating new jobs, providing affordable
healthcare and a good education to all Americans, no
matter their economic status.
Founded by Thomas Jefferson in 1792, the Democratic
Party did not think that having wealth was a
requirement for a person to rule. It was thusly known
as the “party of the common man.” The party also
prides itself in bringing together persons of different
races, religions, sexual orientations, etc in the hopes of
having a more unified nation.

The Constitutional Party is the 3rd party, and
like the Democratic and Republican Party, it
has a presidential candidate every 4 years.
Baldwin the candidate in 2008. This party
wants to restore our government to its
constitutional limits and our law to Biblical
foundations. It was stated by a member of this
party on 4/7/09 that this party could be the
new home for conservatives.
Baldwin is a member of the

well as Christianity. He is a great man
who has been to several Bible colleges
and earned a bachelors and doctorate

As a recent addition to the
Republican party, Michael Steele is
the newly elected Chairmen to the
Republican National Committee.
Steele , who actually grew up in a
family of democrats, pursued his
republican duties and eventually was
elected to the GOPAC in 2007.
Steele’s plan of action for all
Republican’s has a lot to do with the
outreach of African Americans and
Hispanics to aide the diversity in all
republican. Make better use of the
Web and other technology to spread
the GOP message to college students
and small businesses, make sure
Republicans in Congress and around
the country have as consistent a
message as possible, and take on the
Democrats and the media directly
when they mischaracterize GOP
positions.

Cynthia McKinney
Cynthia McKinney began
her career in politics when
her father submitted her
