Pro-Dev Interview Skills
Event Description
Reach to Teach hosted the interview skills workshop. A professional from career services gave a
presentation and discussed the components of a good interview. She was able to relate it
directly to teaching as she was a former elementary teacher. She went through possible
scenarios with our students and even gave them a packet with frequently asked interview
questions, so our student will be better prepared when they are ready to interview for positions.
Students were appreciative of the event and it helped build professional skills that will be
necessary while job hunting post-graduation.
