Milan Ojsteršek University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science »Operation part financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Fund and Ministry for Education, Science and Sport in the framework of the Operational Programme for Strengthening Regional Development Potentials for Period 2007 – 2013.« Project ODUN Project goals • A pilot establishment of a national infrastructure for open access to intellectual production of Slovene universities. • Content is available to domestic and foreign users from web and mobile applications. • Integration of existing digital collections into partner repositories. • Project partners: University of Ljubljana, University of Primorska, University of Nova Gorica and University of Maribor. Achievements • A national approach to building of open access infrastructure. • Web and mobile application for university repositories and the national open science portal. Presentation of content is customized for users with visual and cognitive disabilities. • Templates for legal base about filling publications from students and employments is developped for all partner institutions. • Development of adapted processes for filling publications from students and employments on all partner institutions. • Open Aire compatibility is established to facilitate in registration, discovery, access and re-use of research publications and research data, in particular in the context of Horizon 2020 funded projects across European countries. • Integration with COBISS, SICRIS, higher education information system, university information systems and university autethication systems. • Plagiarism detection software is developed and included into processes for filling publications from students and employments. • Recommendation system of similar works within repositories and between repositories, Dlib and Videolectures.NET is developed. Benefits • Open access to results of study and research activities of universities, resulting in greater impact (citation), • consequentially better utilization rate of research funding from public funds, • number of visits is one of the criteria for calculation of university ranking on Webometrics list (http://www.webometrics.info/).
