and sends to sponsor
PI collects internal
paperwork and mails
to DSR
Begin Financial Administration Cycle
Sponsor reviews
proposal and if
awarded sends award
notice to USF
DSR renegotiates and
accepts award on
behalf of USF
Award Startup
Division of Sponsored Research (DSR)
Accepts award on

Certifies IRB, IACUC,
and other regulatory

Forwards grant
