Football was created by Walter Camp born in
April 17, 1859, in New Haven, Connecticut.
Walter went to Yale University.
Rugby November,6 , 1869
Before Walter Camp made Football, it started off as rugby. This is a photo
of Princeton and Rutgers. In the end Rutgers won.

Then Walter thought if he could
change the rules of rugby he
could make a totally new sport.
Colts vs. The giants
Then Walter Camp changed
some of the rules in rugby to
create football. Then the
country just caught on with the
sport. Later more teams came
and then that’s when the NFL
was born.

The NFL stands for National
Football League. With over 32
teams to join Almost each state
has a team. Like the Detroit
Lions or New York Giants.

The American Conference is
the other half of the teams with

they get super bowl rings

is in Arizona. They never won
the super bowl. Big Red is there
mascot. There colors are red,
black alternate ,and white. Also
there on the National
Conference. Nicknames are
The Cards, The Birds, Big Red,
The Buzz saw, Cardiac Cards
Carolina Panthers
They play in the bank of America
stadium in Carolina. They have
never won a super bowl. Sir purr s
their mascot. Their colors are Black,
Panther Blue, Silver, White. And
their nick names are Cardiac Cats.

New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints play in
the super dome in New
Orleans. They won 1 super
Bowl. Gumbo the dog and Sir
Saint is there mascot. Their
colors are black, old gold and
white. There nick names are
Black and Gold, The Who Dat,
The Bless You Boys. Also there
fight song is “When The Saints
Come Marching In”.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions play at ford
Field Michigan. They zero super
bowls. Their mascot is Roary
the Lion. Their colors are
Honolulu blue, silver, black,
white. Also there fight song is
Gridiron Heroes.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers play at
Lambeau Field. They won 2
super bowls. They don’t have a
mascot. Their owner is Green
Bay Packers, Inc. (112,158
stockholders). AKA the fans
own them. Their colors are
Green Gold & White . Their nick
names are The Pack ,The Green
and Gold. Their fight song is Go

Seattle Sea Hawks
The Seattle Sea Hawks play in

mascot is Blitz and Taima the
hawk. Their colors are Steel

Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings play in

mascot is Viktor the Viking,
