"The good life" is a philosophical term for the life that one would like to live, originally associated with Aristotle. Does the Bible have anything to say about this? Psalm 1:1-3- Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. 3 John 2- Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Psalm 25:12-13- Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. 13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. Psalm 35:27- Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” 1. God wants you to prosper. Word prosper is used over 100 times Prosper means “to make successful” God wants you to be successful.
