User Story: the basic building block As a student, I can see a portlet style dashboard containing easily consumable information. Dashboard Portlets are windows into more detailed content, and show easily consumable information Class Schedule As a student I can see my class schedule Final Grades As a student I can see my final grades D2L Courses As a student I can view my D2L courses, including news items, course content and grades. Advisors As a student I can see my Advisors Demographic Records As a student I can see my profile information, including names, addresses, phones, emails, and Emergency contacts Academic Records As a student, I can view my college, major and minor information. Reports As a student, I can produce and print an Enrollment Verification Report. Bursar Records As a student I can see my amount Due, Charges, Payments and Activity for the last 30 days Financial Aid As a student, I can see my at-a-glance Financial Aid status Holds and Checklists As a student, I can see the same notices, holds and to do items visible in Student Center. Secure Message Center As a student, I can view critical messaging related to my academic success, progression and retention. As an administrative user, I can configure a portal message for a specific population regarding their academic success, progression and retention. Impersonate As an administrative user, I can “impersonate” other users so that I can provide informed troubleshooting and support by seeing what the user can see. The impersonate feature will only appear if I have security access to it. I can enter either a netid or emplid in order to use the feature. Project Mission Campus Portal aims to be the hub of online campus resources, providing prospective students, students, faculty, staff and alumni with a single-sign on solution for the varied services, information and modes communication available to constituents. Campus portal will be a highly responsive system, continuously responsible to and improved by user feedback. Campus portal will be seen as an innovator in inclusive digital access to campus resources, and a model for other higher education institutions.
