Spring 2007 Incorporated use of Jeoparday Fall 2007 Incorporated MZ history into lesson plan Spring 2009 Helped modify pledge class requirement to 3/4 attendance Fall 2009 Increased pledge Fellowship requirement to 2 events Modified interview requirement to 75% of active membership Modified signatures to ExComm only Why did you join APO? It was by accident. I joined because a friend wanted someone to go with her to info night, what she didn't tell me was that she was taking me to the Initiation ceremony. So I had absolutely no idea what I was joining and where this would take me. What is your most memorable moment in MZ? Being elected to my second term as chapter President. It solidified the fact that me winning the position the first time wasn't a fluke. Also my ExComm was awesome (...even Shervey and Justin) and our Lake Tahoe ExComm retreat is still the best ever! What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment? Redesigning the face of the pledge program. Everything from requirements to revealing and all that nice stuff in between. Also winning a gold pan each time I was President was not too shabby too. What was your favorite position and why? PM. It is the most difficult yet most rewarding position on ExComm. I love working with the new faces, it gives me hope that I can inspire someone to share the same passion and love that I have for the organization that has given me so much over the years. What are your hopes for the future of Mu Zeta? The chapter becomes more united. In my five years as a member, we have improved significantly but there is plenty of room to grow. There are still way too many divisions and misunderstandings that foster a sense of negativity and a loss of community. Do you have any advice for the chapter or for the KY class? Don't get swept up by the drama. Drama is inevitable and will happen in every organization, simply put that is human nature. Just remember why you joined and stay true to those beliefs. V. Old Business: VI. New Business: - Darshika Patel: Section 4 Chair. They felt really strongly to host a fellowship. We’re not going to sign up for fellowship.
