New Feature!
Events Space
Draw an Events Card when you land on this space. Players will receive
random situations which would either profit you or result in a loss.
Bonds
Bonds that are bought during this stage will mature at the start of Stage
4.
Stage 4 - Merger and Acquisition (M&A)
Be prepared to pit your established companies against each other in a
fierce battle for the unprecedented title of Conqueror of the Corporate
world! Players will take actions according to the spaces they step on,
fighting out until a winner is determined!
Stage 4 Rules
The gameplay will change from a straight path to an infinite loop.
Players will now roll the dice to determine the number of steps to
progress.
Players have to act according to whatever the space states.
At any point of time, a player can only hold on to only one “Reject” card
or “Takeover” card.
Reject Card
When a player lands on this space, he/she gets a Reject Card for free. A
reject card can be used to:
1) Reject any hostile acquisition of shares that you own.
2) Reject any hostile takeover by opponents.
Takeover Card
When a player lands on this space, he/she gets a Takeover Card for free.
A Takeover Card can be used to activate a takeover of an opponent’s
company when you own the majority of his/her shares.
For example:
Player 1 owns 10% of Player 3’s shares;
Player 2 owns 50% of Player 3’s shares;
Player 3 owns 40% of his own shares;
Player 2 can activate his Takeover Card to immediately
takeover Player 3;
Player 3 is out of the game.
2 ways for a player to lose the game – 1) Takeover. 2) Lose 100% of
your own shares.
What happens after I lose?
1) All remaining shares owned by the losing player will go to the player
that owns majority of his shares.
2) The player’s profits will be split evenly among the shareholders.
Note: In the case where Player A and B both owns 50% of Player
C’s shares, the player who last acquired Player C’s shares will be
awarded all of Player C’s remaining shares.
What happens when the game is down to 2 players at this stage?
When the game has only 2 players remaining, both players will have to
reset their board tokens to start from the M&A space. The same rules
apply but only for a limited distance!
The game ends when the first person completes one round on the board
for Stage 4.
The winner is determined by either:
a) Activating Takeover Card during this round or;
b) Owning more shares than the other player at the end of the round or;
c) If both players own the same amount of shares, the player with the
more profits wins.
