Wetzel. My ethnic heritage includes 50% German on my father’s side of the family and Irish, English, and a bit of French on my mom’s side. Ironically, my dad and members of his of the family have red hair and thus I mine from my Teutonic roots and not from my Irish side. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and currently obtaining my Master’s in Teaching. Due to living in a section of Seattle called Ballard which was established by Norwegian immigrants in late 1800s as a fishing community which would ply Alaskan waters; I have developed a deep liking for Norwegians and Norwegian cultural heritage. Several of my Norwegian friends and associates share a common bond of red hair.
