The State Non-Commercial Organisation Investment and Venture
Foundation of the Republic of Tatarstan has been established by the
Tatarstan Government on 17 November 2004 with a view of implementing
the Republic’s Programme for Innovations Development in Tatarstan in
2004-2010.
Its core activities cover:
- taking part in the implementation of investment and innovation projects,
including that at the early and most risky stages of development;
- providing grants to scientific teams for carrying out R&D projects, support
of fundamental scientific research;
- arranging and holding republic’s and federal competitions for scientific
research enjoying commercial prospects;
- creating and developing business incubators, technoparks and other
elements of innovative infrastructure in Tatarstan;
- preparing and developing the production of technologically new kinds of
products;
- promoting innovation projects, products of republic’s enterprises and
organisations to the market, including the international market;
- enhancing the image and investment appeal of Tatarstan through
participation in regional, federal and international exhibition and trade fair
events.
Its tasks are:
- supporting innovation activities, preparing and developing the production
of essentially new kinds of products and technologies;
- taking part in the formation of the market for scientific and technical

The principal activity of Trading House KAMA JSC is wholesale trade of
products manufactured by enterprises of petrochemical complex Tatneft
OJSC.
