Rudy’s experience demonstrates that if you meet the challenges of life with integrity and
commitment, those challenges can turn into unexpected opportunities. The film was sold by
Hollywood as a tale of second chances. That is accurate on one level. However, when analyzed
fully and supplemented by other events in Rudy’s life, the lessons to be learned from this film
