-2A hearty welcome to all who have come into the house of the LORD for worship this Lord's Day. May the
LORD, out of His glorious riches, continue to strengthen us with power through His Spirit, as we worship
Him. We welcome to our pulpit today Rev. Vellenga. May the Lord bless the preaching of His Word in
our midst. Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the
LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendour of His holiness" [Psalm 29:2].
Children's Sunday School [ages 3 - 8 years old] meets immediately following the morning service.
Children of visitors are heartily invited to come and participate in our Sunday School classes. Sunday
School Song of the month is Psalter Hymnal #356:1, 150:1, 2.
Hearing Aids are available at the sound booth for anyone interested.

This morning’s offering – Rev. Zekveld and Toronto Missions: Rev. Tony Zekveld has been
appointed by the United Reformed Churches to minister among the South Asian people in the Greater
Toronto Area with the ultimate goal of planting a United Reformed Church among our brothers and
sisters in Christ there. Rev. Zekveld is specifically sent our by the Covenant Christian Church in
Wyoming. Toronto Missions has been part of our church’s mission support for some time. The Lord
loves a cheerful giver in the work of His Kingdom.

Church Family: Chris and Katrina Vanden Hengel were blessed with the birth of a daughter,
Kailyn Deborah on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. All is well with mother and daughter.
Mr. VandeBeld continues to receive care at the Dunnville Hospital. Please remember Mr.
and Mrs. VandeBeld in your prayers as they wait upon the Lord.
This past Tuesday, Mr. Tsjibbe de Jong submitted to hip surgery and we are thankful he is
doing well.
Congratulations to Ms. Tina Stienstra who celebrates her birthday on Monday, February 13.
May the Lord continue to guide and uphold you in life’s path.
We are mindful of Mrs. Hanstra, Mrs. Huizer, and Mrs. Vandervliet who reside at
Shalom Manor. We are truly blessed to have a Christian home like this in our midst to help take
care of elderly.

-4We Are Looking For More Drivers! We need volunteers to drive for the Mexican Migrant Outreach
program held Sunday nights at Immanuel URC in Jordan! If you can give some time and like to
drive please sign up for a night by contacting Rick Bruining or Dave Ton.
Food Drive: Today the orange bins will be in the back of the church to collect food for the Salvation
Army Food Bank. Thank you for your generous and continued support with the food drive. It is very
much appreciated. The Evangelism Committee.
Teen Club: Today Rob & Angela are leaders, and Riemke & Inge are in charge of snacks & the
game. Next week is Chelsea & Ruth’s turn.
Young Peoples: Today we have been invited to the Hagen's home for coffee and lunch. Hope to see

Young Couples: We will meet D.V. tonight at 7:30 at the home of Matt and Lisa Snippe. Please

The Haldimand Pregnancy Care Centre: Did you receive Christmas gifts you don’t need? The
Haldimand Pregnancy Care Centre is looking for new items that can be used as prizes at our fundraising
events. Donations can be dropped off at our Centre Monday to Friday 9:30 – 5:00. For more information
please call Carol or Melodie at the Dunnville Centre 905-774-1228. Thank you for your support.
Attention: The Haldimand Pregnancy Care Centre has an urgent need for babysitters – especially on
Monday morning 9.45-12 noon. We have several new moms coming to our groups and the childcare
needs have increased as a result. Also we have one babysitter having surgery and our child care coordinator will be off for a couple of months having a baby herself and so we are needing to fill some
times on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings 9.45-12 noon at our Dunnville Centre.
Without our valuable babysitters our moms can’t attend group. If you can help out we would really
appreciate it. Please contact Carol Butler, Executive Director at 905 774 1228.

All Ontario Reformed Young Adults: Our next Bible study will be held on Saturday, February
18, 2012 D.V. at the Living Water URC in Brantford at 7:00 PM sharp. We will continue our study
on "The Truth Project", moving on to lesson nine "The State: Whose Law? -Of all the social spheres,
the state, to which God grants the power of the sword for the punishment of evil and the preservation
of the good, has the greatest potential to go awry if it oversteps its authority. The civil magistrate
must always remember his place under the sovereignty of God otherwise, havoc will ensue." For more

With Songs of Rejoicing! The Hosanna Choir and Mattaniah Christian Male Choir will be presenting a
concert featuring Psalms, hymns and sacred anthems at Hamilton Place, the Lord willing, on Saturday,
April 7, 2012. Directed by Herman den Hollander, the choirs are accompanied by organists André
Knevel and John Vanderlaan, pianist Joyce Postmus and trumpet players Scott Harrison and Shawn
Spicer, and Symphony Hamilton’s Concert Master Corey Gemmell with the violin. The evening will
also feature guest baritone soloist Lucas Kramer from the Netherlands. Tickets can be obtained by

Kindergarten Open House: Dunnville Christian School is once again hosting their popular
Kindergarten Open House event. Children that are eligible to attend JK or SK this September 2012, and
are not currently attending DCS, are welcome to come and visit. Classes are open on the
following Wednesdays: February 22, February 29, and March 7, from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Come for one
day or all three mornings. Parents are welcome to stay with their children for class or pick them up at
the end of the morning. Children will have an opportunity to participate in singing, reading activities,
crafts, gym time. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the classroom and meet the teacher. We ask
that each child bring a snack and drink (we are peanut, pistachio & walnut free school!), and their
