Vending will run from 3 days, from Friday-Sunday (4th- 6th) at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar for the JUST BE MARKETS. Expected crowd is 2000pax per day for the daytime workshops. This Marketplace is open to the public. URBANITE Bazaar will run for 1 day, Saturday (5th Sept 2015) and will be at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park. This Marketplace will see around 10,000pax per night. FOOD Pavilions exist at both the JUST BE MARKETS & URBANITE Concert. In return, MURFEST will share our artwork with your organization for you to co-promote the Festival to your followers on Social Media Vendor Space / Booth Rules 1. Once registered to participate, vendors are required to operate their booth from 4th – 6th September 2015, from 10:00am – 5:00pm for JUST BE MARKETS & from 6pm – Midnight for the Urbanite Bazaar. 2. Vendor space will be assigned based on first come, first served and placement is done by the Organisers. 3. Vendors are allowed to bring their display units, additional plug points and additional chairs, however, vendors should stay within the boundaries of their allotted space (approx. 8ft x 8ft) and not impede other vendors or space. 4. Check in & set up start time: 3rd September 2015 between 12pm -6pm or on the 4th September between 8am-9.30am. 5. Breakdown and Check out time: 6th September 2015 ending at 9:00 pm. 6. Vendors are to bring their own marketing collateral, however, The Pullman Hotel has a limit to only one (1) bunting per booth. No hard selling allowed at all in the hotel premises other than at the vending space and also at all workshop sites. 7. To protect the safety and security of all Festival visitors, guests, VIPs and venue property, the following items are prohibited in the Festival fairground that could create noise, noxious odours or hazardous effects (e.g., loud music, fog machines, dry ice, confetti cannons, stoves, microwaves, and cooking mechanism). However, lighting small candles and incense are allowed. 8. There will be NO storage area at the Festival. Vendors are required to pack their belongings home to avoid any mishap. However, the Festival has engaged security during the 3 days but will Not be held responsible for any loss of mishaps. 9. The MURFEST secretariat and its planning members are not responsible for theft, loss or damage of participant’s merchandise, display material, valuables and other belongings at any time. Vendors are responsible for the security of their property. 10. As part of educational, social and environmental awareness to the public, ALL vendors are highly encouraged NOT to use plastic bags or Styrofoam during the Festival. Kindly use paper bags, non-woven bags or reusable bags when doing transaction with the customers. 11. Please keep the cleanliness of your booth. Everyone is encouraged to recycle whatever they can. 12. Vendors are limited to only 2 additional VENDING PASS per booth during URBANITE BAZAAR. Extra passes may be obtained from the Organisers. Each vendor will be also accorded 1 FULL FESTIVAL PASS. 13. The rules stated above are subject to change without notice.
