It is a qualification based on individual subjects of study, meaning students receives an "IGCSE" qualification for each subject taken ASSESSMENT Takes place at the end of the two year course and includes a variety of options – written, oral and practical. Graded on an 8-point scale from A* to G RECOGNITION OF IGCSE Many Cambridge IGCSE subjects, including English as a Second Language (at Grade C or above) are recognised by a number of UK, Australian and New Zealand Universities as evidence of competence for foundation university entrance. COSTS? £4,000 per annum – Paid by WIS £43 per subject per candidate (approx SBD$500). This covers administrative costs, preparation of papers, postage and production of certificates. Generally paid by candidate. In the first two years of implementation WIS will pay 50% of these costs
