Analyzes, interprets and effectively communicates financial information to help the management team focus on long-term profitability, operating expenses, inefficiencies and opportunities to strengthen our financial position. The Accounting & Information Team Manager and appropriate A & I team members have the primary responsibility for managing our financial relationships and our financial accounting & reporting processes. This includes regulatory reporting, bank relationships, oversight of accounting processes, and providing leadership in our risk management process which involve insurance, tax’s, and SAIF & workers compensation issues. In addition the Accounting & Information Team Manager is responsible to work with other managers to set appropriate credit limits, and working with Silver Butte on financial issues as appropriate. This team provides the primary accounting functions at C & D Lumber. The goal of the Accounting & Information Team Manager is to be an effective part of the management team that manages C & D lumber Co. in an interdependent and profitable manner.
