applicant’s Princeton University salary. Therefore, the maximum allowable TOTAL INCOME (applicant’s
University salary + co-borrower’s income + other income) for the purpose of determining the maximum
purchase price and maximum University mortgage CANNOT exceed twice the amount of the applicant’s
current University salary. (Example: Princeton University applicant’s income of $30,000 + co-borrower’s
income of $45,000 + other income of $10,000 = total income of $85,000. In this example, the maximum
allowable total income for determining the maximum purchase price and mortgage using the University’s
Mortgage Program is $60,000, twice the applicant’s University salary of $30,000.
