IVB building: (Hanoi) - Asked IVB to apply a new method for power consumption sharing (by electricity meter of each floor). 5. Cantho branch: - Approval report for office equipments. B. Other projects: 1. A new telephone rules applied by 13th Aug’09: * Agency side is allowed to make local calls only. Surveyed office buildings in Hanoi, Haiphong, Dong Nai & Binh Duong. 3. Electricity saving result: Except SCB (not reduction, we try to find out the reason) other buildings have the reduction 1.3000.000 vnd – 5.900.000 vnd). Legal Department MONTHLY REPORT OF AUGUST, 2009 NEW LEGAL DOCUMENTS & MAIN TASKS Legal Department Circular 160/2009/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance on 12 August 2009 guiding 2009 PIT exemption Item Content Deadline for actually paying Salary and wages of first 6 No payment for PIT month of 2009 (irrespective of the time it is paid) Not later than 31 December 2009 Bonus for whole year 2009 PIT: Pay 50% of the (annual bonus, thirteenth bonus month, etc.) Not later than 31 March 2010 Bonus for 1st + 2nd quarters No payment for PIT of the year 2009 Not later than 31 December 2009 Other income (cash for holidays, etc.) PIT exemption based on the actual time of payment Income from salary and wages accrued in 2008 but paid within the period of entitlement to PIT exemption: shall be tax exempt. Legal Department Decree 62/2009/ND-CP dated 27 August 2009 guiding some articles of the Law on Health Insurance - The maximum rate: 6% of the salary/wages of the employees (employer pays 2/3 and employee pays 1/3) - From 1 Jul 09 to 31 Dec 09: employer pays 2% + employee pays 1% per month (remain the same) - From 1 Jan 2010: employer pays 3% + employee pays 1,5% per month - This Decree shall become into valid from 1 October 2009 Main tasks This month: ► Terms & Conditions of new products (C07-C08C09-C10-C11 & R04-R05-R06) finished reviewing, revising and translating ► Legal Compliance Process has been revised all Brochures waiting for regulations from other Dept.
