Respected Sir/Madam,
We are delighted to inform you that we have been entrusted with the responsibility of
hosting Ludhiana Sahodaya School complex (West) volley ball competition for under17
girls/boys. The tournament will be conducted on 1 Oct, 2015 at our schools (Blossoms
Convent School for Boys category & Satya Bharti Adarsh Sr. Sec. School for Girls
category) premises.
You are requested to send us entries on the enclosed Performa of boys and girls
categories separately to reach the respective school latest by 15 September, 2015. No
entry shall be entertained telephonically or on the spot for any reason what so ever.
All the team in-charges are requested to send entries. For any kind of enquiry please

Rules for Tournament
1. The tournament will be conducted according to rules of game as approved by V.F.I
2. Matches will be played on Knockout basis.
3. All players must be with proper playing kit.
4. The players representing a school shall be more than twelve in number.
5. All teams shall be accompanied by a teacher/coach/manager designated by the
Principal of the participating school
6. No team will be permitted to participate without accompanying officials.
7. Disqualification: - A player/Team may be disqualified for the following reasons.
1. Inclusion of non-bona fide students in the team.
2. Misbehavior on the court by player or accompanying official.
3. Use of unsavory language player or accompanying official.
8. Protest:- Protest of any nature in connection with the tournament shall be in writing
and must reach the organizing secretary within 30 min of the declaration. Such protest
will be considered by a jury of appeal. The decision taken by the jury of appeal will be
final & binding.
9. Losers in the semifinal will play the hard line match winners will be awarded with
merit certificates. All participants will be provided with participation certificate who
actually participated in the tournament.
10. First three Winner, Runner-up and hard line match winner will be awarded with merit
certificates. All participants will be provided with participation certificate who actually
participated in the tournament.
11. All players shall carry a valid identity card issued and duly attested by the
concerned school principal.
12. The eligibility Performa shall be duly attested and signed by the principal of
participating school and be sent through mail or by hand to the organizing schools. The
match scheduling will be done in the presence of nearest schools DPEs and the host
schools Principals and would be circulated prior to the tournament to the participating
schools.
13. A player shall be under 17 years as on 31st December, 2015.
14. Team manager/coaches will be fully responsible for discipline among their players.
15. The school will not be responsible for any loss, illness or accident, which may occur
during the tournament.
16. Any damage done to the property of the school during the tournament by any of the
participants will have to be compensated by the respective team manager/coach.
17. The matches LSSC (WEST) shall be played as best of three sets, each set of 15
point. A set is won by the team which first scores 15 points with a minimum lead is
achieved (16-14; 17-15;……)
18. Maximum to “time out” per set, of 30 seconds each will be allowed on the request of
concerned coach/captain.
19. The color and design of the playing kit of the members of team must be the same,
except for ‘libero’ (defensive player) who must wear a uniform contrast in colour with
that of the other members of the team.
20. The teams should have their own ball.
21. The reporting time on the opening day ceremony is 9:00 a.m.
